Meet our unofficial mascot, Timber!
Timber is the unofficial tree pruning mascot of Trees By Mr B. in Littleton, Colorado.
Timber is a rescue dog that came from Demi’s Animal Rescue and was taken from a high kill shelter down south. He immediately became part of the Tree’s By Mr B. family and is learning the business quickly. He likes to chew on the big sticks from when we are pruning trees until we get the yard cleaned up. Whether you are getting your free estimate, getting a full pruning during the winter months, or any tree related services, you might run into Timber!
Today we will touch on pruning your trees in the winter months.
Top reasons to prune your trees in the winter:
- The lack of leaves allows us to see the architecture of the tree and make the proper cuts
- Trees are dormant in the winter and will not start sap flow until the spring, minimizing the time it will take the tree to “heal” in the spring
- Pruning in the winter also helps minimize the exposure to disease and infection
As always, we recommend that you consult a professional for your pruning needs. If you would like to schedule your FREE ESTIMATE to get your trees pruned this winter, use the form on the right and we will contact you soon!
